Meet Mary
Meet Mary, our inspiration for the naming of this tough new ladies safety boot, now available from our Amblers Safety Sophie Collection.
Mary works in her family plaster mouldings business, producing and restoring intricate ceiling roses, columns, cornices, coves, fireplaces and panel rails from plaster, stone and speciality materials.
Working alongside her father and brother, Mary strives to continue her family tradition for high quality.
Renowned in the industry, for her ability to blend historical restoration with modern design materials, this unique skill set has made Mary a trusted partner for organisations like English Heritage and the National Trust.
Mary has also produced many masterpieces for TV and film productions, recently creating twenty full size statues for The Gentlemen.
Mary works in a tough workshop environment, that requires robust footwear protection.
“It’s a real honour to have one of the Amblers Safety boots named after me. I’ve worn Amblers Safety for a while now, and these new AS614 boots are really tough.
The workshop floor is cold and uneven stone, so the warm lining and rugged sole is perfect for me. The toe bumper and composite toe cap also give me the protection I need at work.
For me it’s important to have footwear protection, but I like to look good at work too, and these boots look great. Some of my friends have commented on them, asking where they’re from”.
